However, the company now intends to postpone the release of its generative AI-powered Alexa until March or a later date, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/technology\/2025\/02\/14\/amazon-ai-alexa-delayed\/\" target=\"_blank\">as reported by the Washington Post.<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a separate development, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2025-02-14\/apple-s-long-promised-ai-overhaul-for-siri-runs-into-bugs-possible-delays\" target=\"_blank\">Bloomberg reports<\/a> that Apple&#8217;s efforts to revamp Siri with AI are being hindered by engineering issues and software glitches. As a result, some new features planned for release in April may be delayed until May or later.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Amazon and Apple aimed to launch these updated products promptly to stay competitive with next-generation AI voice assistants, such as OpenAI&#8217;s Advanced Voice Mode and Google&#8217;s Gemini Live.
