Ericsson has launched Cognitive Labs, a research-driven initiative dedicated to advancing AI for telecoms. The initiative is designed to explore AI technologies such as Graph Neural Networks (GNNs), Active Learning, and Large-Scale Language Models (LLMs).<\/p>\n
Cognitive Labs will operate virtually, rather than from a single physical base, and will focus on advancing AI technologies for the next generation of mobile communications. The initiative also aims to extend AI’s transformative potential to other sectors, such as healthcare.<\/p>\n
The Cognitive Labs initiative places a strong emphasis on open collaboration, engaging with the open-source community to further the development of AI technologies for wider societal benefit.<\/p>\n
