Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Ultra: A Unique Form Factor with a Twist

Samsung’s top-of-the-line Galaxy S lineup’s Ultra unit boasts a unique form factor, thanks to its S Pen, which comes equipped with a wide range of key features that significantly enhance the user experience. However, in a surprising move, the Galaxy S25 Ultra has ditched the Bluetooth connectivity of its S Pen, leaving fans disappointed.

Has Samsung Confirmed the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s S Pen Has Bluetooth?

Despite the lack of confirmation from Samsung, one of the company’s websites suggests that Galaxy S25 Ultra owners can purchase a Bluetooth-enabled S Pen separately. This seems unusual, as the standard S Pen would be expected to have Bluetooth connectivity.

The S Pen’s Key Features Have Vanished

The majority of the key features associated with the S Pen have been removed, including Air Actions, which are popular among Galaxy fans. Samsung claims that the Bluetooth-enabled S Pen is available separately, with two variants: the standard Galaxy S25 Ultra S Pen and the S Pen Pro, which has Bluetooth connectivity and is compatible with the Ultra unit.

The S Pen Pro: A Special Version with Bluetooth Connectivity

The S Pen Pro is already available on Amazon, listed as the "SAMSUNG S Pen Original Galaxy S25 Ultra Pen" for $49.99. However, it’s possible that the information on the Samsung website and Amazon might be outdated, and the S Pen may not actually have Bluetooth support as suggested.

A Clarification from Samsung

According to a company executive, the S Pen Pro does not work with the Galaxy S25 Ultra model. It’s likely that there’s been a mistake from Samsung’s website or retailer’s end, who accidentally displayed the standard Galaxy S25 Ultra as a Bluetooth-enabled model.

Waiting for Confirmation

Until Samsung issues an official statement confirming the existence of a Bluetooth-enabled S Pen for the Galaxy S25 Ultra, it’s best to wait and see what the future holds for this feature.
