The debut title from French developer Sandfall, a turn-based RPG, has garnered rave reviews<\/a> in the days following its release and has already surpassed significant sales milestones. On Sunday morning, the game’s publisher, Kepler Interactive<\/a>, announced on social media that the game has sold over a million copies since its release on April 24. Notably, it reached the first 500,000<\/a> units sold in just one day. The team clarified on the game’s BlueSky account that this figure “includes units shipped to retailers and does not include our GamePass players.”<\/p>\n

The narrative of Expedition 33<\/em> revolves around a group of Expeditioners on a mission to destroy the entity known as the Paintress. The Paintress annually paints a number on a monolith, condemning everyone of that age to death, gradually reducing the population as the numbers decrease.
