However, new users can still generate images using Sora.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The introduction of OpenAI&#8217;s image generation capability was met with significant attention and <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2025\/03\/28\/openai-peels-back-chatgpts-safeguards-around-image-creation\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">controversy<\/a>, largely due to its impressive ability to <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2025\/03\/26\/openais-viral-studio-ghibli-moment-highlights-ai-copyright-concerns\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">replicate styles similar to Studio Ghibli&#8217;s<\/a> hand-drawn animation.
