Vogt has not responded to requests for comment. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This latest funding round comes less than a year after the launch of The Bot Company, which aims to produce a robot designed for household chores. The company was launched in May with initial funding of $150 million from investors including former GitHub CEO Nat Friedman, Pioneer founder Daniel Gross, Spark Capital&#8217;s Nabeel Hyatt, Stripe CEO Patrick Collison, Stripe co-founder John Collison, and Quiet Capital. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The launch of The Bot Company occurred approximately five months after Vogt&#8217;s resignation as CEO of Cruise, the autonomous vehicle startup he founded in 2013, which was later acquired by General Motors.
