In comparison, another prominent image model provider, Ideogram, charges around $0.08 on the higher end.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.x.ai\/docs\/guides\/image-generations\" target=\"_blank\">xAI&#8217;s documentation<\/a>, the API currently lacks the ability to adjust image quality, size, or style. Additionally, prompts in requests may be subject to revision by a &#8220;chat model.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">xAI, which launched its API in October 2024, appears to be seeking substantial revenue sources as it accelerates the training and development of its flagship models, including <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2025\/02\/17\/elon-musks-ai-company-xai-releases-its-latest-flagship-ai-grok-3\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Grok 3<\/a>.
