The updated keyboard is designed to make it easier to use the on-screen keyboard with an Xbox controller, featuring improved navigation and helpful shortcuts. For instance, the X button can be used as backspace, the Y button as the spacebar, and the menu button as enter. Additionally, Microsoft has vertically aligned the keyboard keys for a smoother user experience.<\/p>\n

Microsoft initially announced that it was beta testing this technology back in September<\/a>. The feature is now available in the Release Preview version of Windows 11, allowing users to try it out within the next few weeks.
